Founded in Singapore, the food tech company develops innovative and sustainable plant-based foods and markets them internationally. In summer 2022, the company launched TiNDLE as its first brand for plant-based foods in Germany and now wants to offer the products to even more partners.

TiNDLE is distributed by Next Gen Foods and is an easy-to-prepare plant-based chicken specially developed with chefs for chefs. It offers the taste and texture of traditional chicken and is made from natural, non-GMO ingredients. The resemblance to chicken is based on Lipi™, the company's proprietary emulsion of plant-based ingredients, which mirrors the flavour, cookability and savoury properties of chicken fat. Initially designed for the food service industry, five TiNDLE vegan chicken products have been available in retail outlets in Germany and the UK since the beginning of the year. TiNDLE is also available in restaurants worldwide. Together with SevenVentures as a media investor, the aim is to increase awareness of TiNDLE primarily in Germany, the home country of co-founder Timo Recker. The partners also want to raise awareness for vegan nutrition and plant-based meat substitutes.

TiNDLE is the first product of Next Gen Foods. The company was founded in 2020 by Brazilian-born poultry exporter and experienced food entrepreneur Andre Menezes and German-born Timo Recker, whose family business has been producing schnitzel and other meat products for three generations. Next Gen Foods aims to create a more sustainable food system and reduce dependence on animal agriculture. The company initially focused on developing a plant-based substitute for chicken, which is the world's most popular source of protein and one of the most versatile meats in cuisines and food traditions around the world.

With this investment, SevenVentures once again underpins its expertise in sustainably building up consumer-oriented start-ups through individually tailored media investments and raising their profile via ProSiebenSat.1's high-reach TV and digital channels. The Pink Box curates trendy cosmetics and care products, especially for the target group of young, trend-conscious women. SevenAccelerator, which belongs to SevenVen-tures, the investment arm of ProSiebenSat.1, has already signed a media services contract with the company. A further cooperation in the form of a media deal enables an extensive marketing campaign on ProSiebenSat.1's high-coverage TV channels and digital platforms, including a dedicated TV spot for the Pink Box on ProSieben and sixx during TV broadcasts and in #GNTM-related programme environments on red and taff.&nbsp;

The stylishly compiled beauty box with 13 products for an individual top model look and a merchandise value of over 100 euros has been available via the BeautyLove webshop since May - and thus in the run-up to the #GNTM season semi-finals. As part of an exclusive cooperation with Seven.One Licensing, the licensing unit of the Seven.One Entertainment Group, BeautyLove is responsible for the curation of the box contents as well as the associated marketing and logistics via a promotion licence. The implementation of the licensing cooperation is the result of the close collaboration between SevenAccelerator's portfolio company and the licensing unit of the parent company. In this way, the distinctive brand values of #GNTM are transferred to the Pink Box.

KoRo offers innovative, vegan and vegetarian foods primarily through its own e-commerce platform. In the course of its extended Series B financing round with other renowned investors such as HV Capital and Five Seasons Ventures, SevenVentures acquires shares in the food brand. The up-and-coming start-up reached the finals of the SevenVentures Pitch Day, SevenVentures' own start-up competition, as early as 2021.

Munich, March 9, 2023. Together with the shopper marketing specialist marktguru, the Munich agency PARTICIBRAND has won the baked goods manufacturer Kuchenmeister for a cross-media campaign. For the first time, the company is relying on both advertising on the TV screen and an advertising presence in an advantage offers app to increase brand awareness of its confectionery product Koala biscuits among sweet tooth fans and families with children.

Innovative 3D collages were created for the joint campaign, which were successively published on the Instagram channels of flaconi and Yuna from 05.12.22 onwards.

"The trend of working with virtual influencers has now also arrived in Germany and we are delighted to be able to launch our first digital campaign in this innovative field together with our partner L'Oréal Luxe. Her focus topics on her Instagram channel @iamyunaverse are female empowerment, body positivity, sustainability and mindfulness. In this way, she resembles many other women and influencers in the real world, even though she is a fictional computer-generated avatar, she is a purely digital personality and exists only in the metaverse, which opens up new possibilities for her, especially in virtual space.

Virtual influencer discovers fragrances in the metaverse

The ProSiebenSat.1 subsidiary NuCom Group, in which General Atlantic holds a 28.4% stake, is selling all of its shares of around 98% in Amorelie (Sonoma Internet GmbH) to EQOM Group. The group, that is one of the biggest players on the market for sexual wellness in Europe, also acquires the further around 2% held by the founder Lea-Sophie Cramer. After ProSiebenSat.1 Group having developed the profile and strength of the brand Amorelie via TV advertising, it is now no longer the best owner with regard to the further internationalization and thus the next development step of the company. ProSiebenSat.1 focuses on its investments that can be further developed through synergies with the Entertainment business and thus increase the value of the entire Group.

Amorelie was founded in Berlin in 2013 and is now one of the leading German online shops for sensual lifestyle and erotic products. Besides Germany, the company is also represented in Austria, Switzerland, France and Belgium. Following a media-for-equity investment in 2014, ProSiebenSat.1 acquired a majority stake in Amorelie in 2015 and expanded its share to around 98% in 2018. Since then, Amorelie has been part of the portfolio of NuCom Group, in which ProSiebenSat.1 holds a majority stake with General Atlantic being the minority investor, and since January 2021 of ProSiebenSat.1's Commerce &amp; Ventures segment. Through the successful use of TV advertising on the Group's entertainment platforms, Amorelie has been able to significantly expand its market position and increase brand awareness of its products over the past seven years. In addition, ProSiebenSat.1 has supported Amorelie with operational know-how in building up its own brands as well as its presence in offline retail. In the future, the design will be more closely aligned with the look of the Seven.One Entertainment Group. Effective immediately, SevenAccelerator will operate under a new name. Like SevenVentures, it will also have a new logo. Growth shows desire for an active and healthy lifestyle

The Urban Sports Club group, which includes OneFit in the Netherlands, offers its members a flexible sports and wellness membership with over 50 sports including online classes. The platform has a partner network of over 10,000 locations in six European countries. It thus brings together a wide range of sports and wellness offers with demand from companies and private individuals. Urban Sports Club's active membership increased significantly by 51% from 1 June 2021 to 1 June 2022. The upward trend in 2022 shows: In the first half of the year, Urban Sports Club has already recorded almost as many new registrations as in the whole of 2021.

Members' on-site visits to the studio or live online classes are on the rise. Monthly check-ins, i.e. visits per member, increased by 43% year-on-year in 2022 for corporate clients (B2B), and by 23% for B2C. The SevenVentures Pitch Day 2021 will take place for the first time in cooperation with the 4GAMECHANGERS Festival of the Austrian ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4 Group. SevenVentures Pitch Day 2021: These start-ups will compete in the live finale on July 6 for victory and video advertising worth EUR 3 million

The winning company of the SevenVentures Pitch Day 2021 has been determined: With the Berlin-based start-up SIRPLUS, a finalist convinced the jury that has dedicated itself to the major social problem of destroying surplus or expired food. The company saves perfectly edible food from the bin by offering it to environmentally conscious buyers at a discounted price. In addition to the sustainable business model, the personality of the co-founder of SIRPLUS was particularly impressive: Raphael Fellmer wants to use the lucrative profit, consisting of video advertising worth EUR 3 million and a budget for his own TV commercial, to reach the break-even point of the company and for the continuous development of the brand.

Four ambitious young companies had presented their respective business models in the final of this year's tenth edition of the SevenVentures Pitch Day - presenting the jury consisting of flaconi CFO Kathrin Nusser, SevenVentures CCO Florian Weber and investor and star presenter Joko Winterscheidt with a difficult choice. In the end, SIRPLUS won the first duel against VYTAL, which operates Europe's largest digital, deposit-free reusable system for takeaway and delivery meals. Tim Breker, one of the founders of VYTAL, presented the company in the Galileo studio, where presenter Steven Gätjen guided through the show.

In the second semi-final, founder Tilman Rumland held his own with his app SafeNow, which offers safety in threatening situations. The product automatically identifies, displays and alerts helpers in the vicinity to provide quick and targeted assistance. He was particularly impressed by his personal story, a tragic assault in his own environment. This spurred him on to further develop the app for the protection of people in dangerous situations. SafeNow was given preference over the D2C brand KoRo, which is rethinking retail by focusing on short, trade routes, efficient process flows and bulk packaging, and making high-quality food available at fair prices. Piran Asci presented on behalf of the founding team. In the final, the jury members then voted unanimously in favour of SIRPLUS.

The event was organised by <a href="https://www.sevenventures.de/">SevenVentures</a>, the investment arm of ProSiebenSat.1 and the world's leading TV media investor, which has already provided more than EUR 30 million in media funding for start-ups in the ten-year history of the event.

Start-up SIRPLUS wins SevenVentures Pitch Day 2021

Unterföhring, April 7, 2022 – SevenVentures, the investment arm of ProSiebenSat.1 and part of the Group's Commerce &amp; Ventures segment, acquires shares in Grover, the leading consumer-tech subscription platform, via a media-for-equity investment. As part of the Series C financing round of the successful Berlin-based start-up, which thus reaches a valuation in the billions, SevenVentures invests and further expands its cooperation with the European pioneer for the rental of technology products. SevenVentures receives shares in the company in return for media services.

Grover receives a total of 110 million US dollars in equity capital in the financing round led by US investor Energy Impact Partners and also secures a further 220 million US dollars in debt capital. The company has thus become a unicorn. The aspiring start-up intends to use this capital to drive forward its international expansion in a continuously growing market segment, as well as to further develop its existing sales markets, including Germany and Austria. SevenVentures will continue to support Grover with individually tailored 360° digital and TV campaigns to further increase the start-up's brand awareness and accelerate its rapid growth.

In this way, SevenVentures is making a significant contribution to the value-creating development of the new unicorn, as ProSiebenSat.1's media offering addresses a particularly relevant target group for whom sustainability is playing an increasingly important role in their own consumer behavior. The entrepreneurial actions of the Berlin start-up enable everyone to use technology through flexible rental models. In the Commerce &amp; Ventures segment, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group bundles its growth businesses and thus its entire investment activities. SevenVentures invests in Grover: Series C financing round makes German company a unicorn

Unterföhring, March 08, 2021. SevenVentures is taking a stake in Sanity Group (www.sanitygroup.com) as part of a media-for-equity investment in the mid-single-digit million euro range. The Berlin-based start-up will use the investment to further promote its lifestyle brand VAAY and natural cosmetics line This Place on ProSiebenSat.1's high-reach TV channels with high target group affinity. SevenVentures is part of the Commerce &amp; Ventures segment of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE.

Awareness of the brands to be further expanded

Under the brands VAAY and This Place, Sanity Group markets CBD-based lifestyle and cosmetic products: the wellbeing brand VAAY stands for CBD- and hemp-based products to promote mindfulness, balance and well-being as part of a healthy lifestyle; This Place stands for functional natural cosmetics and a new type of natural wellness and beauty products. CBD is a non-psychoactive ingredient from the cannabis plant that is not addictive and is said to have anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and relaxing effects. Unlike the active ingredient THC, CBD has no intoxicating effect and does not fall under the Narcotics Act.
